1968

People are dying inexplicably in Maskek and the local police are divided as to the cause. It’s been happening for centuries.

For Deacon Pierce who has grown up with the legends and mythology of the First Nations Cree, a visit to his teacher’s home unlocks the door to his father’s tortured past.

In 1750 Jonathan Sparkling Eyes Hare signed away his mortal soul and those of his unborn children, for life eternal: a deal with a demon or a creature of ancient Cree legend?

When nightmares and darker visions begin to affect Deacon’s health and sanity, his white, adopted mother is forced to reveal the truth about his bloodline and the sinister events surrounding his father Jonathan and his lover Damien Drew.

Can past and present combine to prevent Deacon’s death?

  1. I’ve been writing all week during lunch hours and breaks. Probably added 1000 words to my manuscript which I plan to finish this holiday weekend.

  2. Jenee Koci says:

Had a great week. My WIP is almost finished. Depending on time today, it will be finished today or tomorrow.

  3. Finishing my Boots and Blades by end of Monday. Little gnomes have been bugging me to get on with the story all week long. First day at new job was epic. Think I’ve found a home for the rest of my working life. Yay!

  4. Greg Current says:

The week went by too fast! I have been fine tuning my online presence, which I have had by the way, by putting the finishing touches to my blog. Facebook still has my page blocked for some reason, so I may switch to Twitter. I am now working on the formatting of my book, The Cradle of Destiny, set to be released next year. It has kept me in the writing chair (smile…)

  5. My week has been pretty good. I actually worked–that is wrote–almost every day on my new novel. I usually feel that I have done all right if I have gotten a thousand words and I did that several times so I am happy with it.

  6. I completed 3,120 words (chapter 3) on my newest novel Whispers of Death, a mystery/science fiction novel. My novel Strange, a mystery novel touching science fiction was accepted by RPP and will be published June 15, 2018. Have a great Labor Day!

  7. My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

  8. Keep up the superb piece of work, I read few articles on this website and I believe that your web blog is very interesting and has circles of superb information.
