Buy at: Amazon, Barnes and Noble

After the psychologically scarring death of her father, wild child Rosie Dwyer is introduced to journal keeping. She initially considers this writing form to be cliché. Before the death, Rosie valued chaos and rebellion- from “protest-peeing” in class to shoving a Twinkie in a classmate’s eye. However, once Rosie gives into this mode of writing, a cathartic obsession begins.

Her entries often focus on her childhood enemy, Logan Fields, after he becomes Rosie’s permanent peer editor in creative writing class. While Rosie loses touch with both loved ones and reality, an unlikely friendship builds between her and Logan. Together, they must try to find the meaning behind insanity- in the school theatre, in the public library, and in the middle of a false Apocalypse.

I’ve had a great week. Finished 2nd read through of Twelve Days to Love my Christmas Novella, finished ninety pages of the fantasy I’m editing. Still working on 2nd draft for Gotta Have Fayth an October release.

Sold Books at Penney Lynn’s Gift Fair yesterday. Did OK. Sold several books and talked go a lot of people. Got a half dozen sales gigs between now and Christmas. All’s Well.

  4. Genene says:

The writing class I’m taking is really keeping me on task to dig deep into character motivation and plot the book I’ll be writing in October/November. The instructor is a knowledgable taskmaster! LOL! Actually, she’s great and without this class, I’d probably still only have a couple paragraphs of notes instead of several pages of major scenes planned. This is a great way to kick-start writing a book!

  5. Greg Current says:

I completed phase two of establishing my online presence this weekend by creating a Twitter account. Not much on it yet but I am getting it there: @GregoryCurrent Also finished two blog post this week; one introducing the Sy’Arrians, the main race from my book, while the other focused on how to create character names. All-in-All it was a good week.
