A St. Patrick's Day Tale contains three stories: Star Crossed by Christine Young, Meadows of Gold by C, L. Kraemer and St. Batzy and the Time machine by Genene Valleau. Each story touches the theme of Ireland and some its mythical creatures.
Star Crossed takes place in Ireland in 1816. Maya and her older brother, Oran, are faeries watching over two humans, Casey O'Connell, a Catholic and her amorous suiter, Kelly Shaunasey, a Protestant. A family feud between these two families complicates their love for each other. Fae pagans, Cary and Coon, try to stealthy means to destroy Casey and Kelly relationship. There are twist and turns to the story leading to a climax of the protagonist and antagonist. Will love rise above adversity?
Meadows of Gold is about Tiamoon, a warrior gnome of a valley clan. Gnomes, faeries, wood nymphs, leprechauns, nymphs, sprites and other small folks living in the valley. The local hill clan had been raiding the gnome settlements and wreaking havoc on the inhabitants. Cary of Innisboffin, Ireland and Conn had no idea where they were, arriving in a time machine. Mr. Florence, who was drunk at the time, was challenged to a duel with a human. Humans are called Others. Morgan a night elf joins forces with Conn, an elf. They instigate a war affecting all the creatures of the forest, valley and meadow. Skye, Tia's mother, had a secret about her daughter. Loyalty, conflict and friendship propels Meadows of Gold to a surprise ending.
St. Batzy and the Time Machine introduces you to Horace Ainsworth, an inventor and genus. His ultimate invention is a time machine. His wife, Maddie, an adventurous woman, runs into a problem flying to another country. The story contains drama, suspense, thriller elements carrying the reader through adventurous scenarios with a dog named Batzy, along with Horace and Maddie. An extremely entertaining story, propelling you from chapter to chapter, never knowing what to expect. The characters are real and memorable. A satisfying ending, climax.
