In reply to gregory gourlay. Yes Listopia is a very popular way for readers to find books. This is how I usually find books to read. We will be writing blog post about the best way authors can use this function. :)

There is a large list of genres and sub-genres on Goodreads Listopia. Readers visit the lists looking for their favorite type of read. To get your book included in a certain genre group, however, someone else must do it for you, authors are not allowed to place their own books there.
Having been added to the list the more votes a book receives the higher up it moves on the list.
This is another way to increase exposure on Goodreads.
