#Marketing For Romance Writers
Marketing For Romance Writers: A place to gain information about promoting your books.
Check out the link for more information about Marketing for Romance Writers: MFRW
I have been a member of MFRW since about 2010. At first I found the number of emails was astronomical. While there was a great deal of good marketing information, weeding through the repetitious emails was time consuming. At this point it seems to me they have the email problem solved.
What will MFRW do for you?
- MFRW has occasional classes to help create more professional manuscripts for authors.
- Many of the members will invite authors to be guests on their blogs.
- Questions about marketing, promoting and publishing can be answered by other members on the email list.
- They will help build your newsletters recipients by giving ideas and sites that will assist you.
- With a blog, a website and a magazine for all members to use to help promote, I feel if the author has the time this is a great way to begin to learn how to promote their books.
- While Marketing for Romance Writers emails is NOT a way to promote, it provides other opportunities.
Book Hooks
I have recently started promoting my books with MFRWBOOKHOOKS. This is where once a week the author put a blurb, excerpt and cover of their book on their blog. They link it to other authors who would like the same opportunity. Book Hooks is a bit confusing, but if you follow the directions one step at a time, you will be successful. It will also take some time because BOOK HOOKS would like each participating author to visit the other blogs and leave a comment. At the moment this is not too difficult, because only ten to fifteen blogs have participated.
