Sounds like a super interesting book ~ I love these coming of age books especially ones set in the 69s because represent a very volatile and crazy time in United States.

The cover looks rather like a twist of what’s to come…
The blurb sounds inviting to me, not as religious as it starts out as, but rather a young person growing up in a religious environment, and college life shows a whole new meaning… which indeed makes me want to read it.

Just purchased Serpents and Doves by G. Lloyd Helm. Will do a review at Barnes & Nobel, Book Town and Good Reads. The blurb and excerpt motivated me in purchasing the book. This will be the 4th G. Lloyd Helm book I’ve purchased and read.
