Share Positive Thoughts: Check In
It’s Check In And Share Day, Positive Thoughts.
Let’s Make Fireworks: Check In and share what you did this week: Positive Thoughts only.
Time to pay the piper! How did you do? How much did you write? Did words explode on your WIP? Check In and share something positive from your week.
This is the Rogue Phoenix Press weekly Check In. Every Sunday we encourage our authors and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.
How well are you doing?
Had problems this week? That’s ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don’t let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.
Every word is one word closer to the finished product.
Please share your accomplishments in the comment section.
Be sure to use this post to set a goal for the week then try to accomplish that goal.

I’ve been promoting like made for the past week…overdrive. Just today I added a video of me talking about Love Sick Love using wording similar to the Author’s Note at the back of the book. Hitting all social media links, and emailing . I’ve sold one copy that I know of, so all is good.
That’s great! I agreed with Christine to promote Love Sick on my blog and I will do so this coming week,
Great week. I visited my 90+ year old parents and had my first Thanksgiving. Kept on writing. My WIP is at 85,000 words, almost finished with rough draft.
Wow! That’s a lot of words! Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Hooray for progress! Got side-tracked with other projects this week so didn’t get as much writing done as I would have liked, but still made progress. Have also done some preparation for an in-person book signing on December 2. Looking forward to this event!
My positive thought is kinda strange–I just got word from a website that a story I submitted as a kind of “Screw You” thinking that though they asked for brutal stories they would never publish my story is going to be published on their website tomorrow about noon. The site address is https://silhouettepress.submittable.com/user/submissions/8031913. The story title is TOUGH. The story is very old. I wrote it many years ago and it had been rejected many times. All I can think about now is that maybe I am finally going to come into my own after fifty years of scribbling.
Do I have to sign into the site to get into it to read your story? Please let me know when you have time. Thanks.
Good luck!
