Share Positive Thoughts: Check In
It’s Check In Day.
Let’s Make Fireworks: Check In and tell us what you did.
Time to pay the piper! How did you do? How much did you write? Did words explode on your WIP? Check In
This is the Rogue Phoenix Press weekly Check In. Every Sunday we encourage our authors and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.
How well are you doing?
Had problems this week? That’s ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don’t let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.
Every word is one word closer to the finished product.

I just received, in the mail, a copy of the UK Air-cooled Yamaha RD Club magazine– they published an article I wrote about riding my RD 250 Yamaha from Casa Grande AZ to Nebraska in 1977. They are going to publish another of my articles– about a Harley Sportster I owned– in December.
That’s great. I bet you’re excited. Let us know how that turns out.
I’ve had a busy week. Still working one edits for new release. Ordered postcards for advertising new release on Dec. 1. Saw Eugene grandkids and enjoyed their overnight stay.
Wrote 4 hand written pages on my lunch hour for a new story. The best day this week. I usually get two or three pages but was cooking that day. I’ve got to do line editing on my anthology story and keep up on the new ones.
Can hardly wait to read your new story.
Congratulations, Jeff. Nice job.
Had a good week. Worked every day–1000 words a day–Almost finished with my latest book. Also, tomorrow, Set.25 will be my 47th wedding anniversary. That is most of my life that I have been married to the same woman. She is my love, my friend, my support. All my books are dedicated to her.
Forty-seven years, that’s fantastic. Hope you do something special.
Good week. I got a great deal on 50% off on postcards from VistaPrint and sent out promotion cards on my new novel coming out in November. The postcards looks great, and I’ve already had people asking if they can pre-order.
I also finished the first fairly polished draft of my next novel in the murder mystery series. I start the line-editing process this week. I hope to have the second one ready to go to Rogue Phoenix Press about the same time as my first one comes out.
I’m in the process of ordering postcards from VistaPrint. How did you get the 50% off? Would love to know.
Just finished reading The Beamy Courage of Geta Scholler and posted a review on Amazon. Great read. Nearly completed short story Train Whispers. Wrote Chapter Five of Whispers of Death. Will be interviewed tomorrow on WOCA talk radio by Larry Whitler & Robin Mac Blane at 11:05 am. regarding my newest book The Strange Horizon.
